Bat Cruise day

Tonight is the annual ACA Bat Cruise, which I'm very much looking forward to, as this will actually be my first year to attend. Like last year, I'm busy spending the bulk of this week at Fantastic Fest, our awesome local annual film festival of horror, sci-fi, and general geekitude, and I'll have you know this year I'm skipping a Yeun Woo Ping double feature to go float on a boat with a bunch of baby-eating heathens. So you know I have my priorities straight. (And I got burned last year, skipping the cruise for two premieres which turned out to suck horribly.)

This afternoon, the cruise will be preceded by Matt's "Superiority of Secular Morality" lecture. And then I do believe tomorrow is going to be the last 90 minute episode of AETV (featuring Matt and Jeff) for a good long while, if hopefully not forever. So this is a momentous weekend for atheists in Austin all around.

  1. Is the lecture going to be recorded and posted somewhere online?

  2. I suspect so. If it is, someone will link it or embed it here.

  3. I brought a baby, but there was no bbq pit. Matt told me that open fires weren't allowed on the boat.
