I seriously apologize for getting everyone interested and then yanking the rug out, but the idea we had for the show had to be postponed at the last minute. Hopefully it will run on January 10.
However, the post show dinner is still going to be interesting, and not even Martin knows why. ;)

lolwut. I open Outlook before I pop Frasier on and read the notification about the "surprise" on AETV. As I insert the disk and wait for it to load, the RSS syncs again and theres another post from the blog: the surprise is cancelled. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBe sure to take some pictures for those of us who don't fancy taking a transatlantic flight just for sunday dinner :)
ReplyDeleteOn your previous post, Martin said the following:
ReplyDelete"Well, you guys are really pulling out all the stops on the speculating, aren't you? As vivid as your imaginations are, now I'm worried the whole thing may be a big letdown."
OMG THE PROPHECY. IT HAS BEEN FULFILLED.
ALL MUST SHOW RESPECT, FOR THE MESSIAH HAS COME.
How can you atheists say you know anything? One minute you believe something special is going to happen, and then you change your mind based on new evidence! How can you assert anything if you're just going to flip flop on it the next day!?
ReplyDeleteI'll never listen again!
ReplyDeleteI guess the fork changed back into a spoon before you could show it to the world. What a joker that God is!
ReplyDeleteDamn, I guess Ray couldn't make it until next week to participate in the debate.
ReplyDeleteWell, this blows. Now I won't be co-hosting that day. I guess that's what Kazim was trying to call me about all day yesterday...
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is, now the dinner surprise had better be epic!
Y'know they do to Injun givers in Tejas, doncha? Hope so, 'cause I sure don't Xb
ReplyDeleteSorry to post off-topic, but are any of the Atheist Experience crew coming 'down-under' in March of next year for the Global Atheist convention? http://www.atheistconvention.org.au/
ReplyDeleteShould be a big one, Richard Dawkins will be in attendance with a host of others, to discuss topics around science, religion and skepticism.
Jesse,
ReplyDeleteYou said "How can you atheists say you know anything? One minute you believe something special is going to happen, and then you change your mind based on new evidence! How can you assert anything if you're just going to flip flop on it the next day!?"
To answer your question, us atheists dont really claim to know anything. we are open about not knowing. You theists claim to know everything. one of these is ignorant, the other is humble.
Jonah, I think Jesse is joking. ;-)
