Today on the show: Love

What is love, and why does it inspire so many cheesy songs? Is God love? Can an atheist believe in love without proof? Tune to "The Atheist Experience" on Austin Access channel 10 at 3PM central, and find out.

No links today, because it's mostly going to be just me extemporaneous philosomophizering.

  3. You think it's bad for you? I had to actually download the damn thing on my iPod, and then listen to it so I could make sure it would work as a 30 second clip.

Then I started to realize that I was enjoying it on an non-comedic level, and I got really worried.

  4. Hey,

I loved this episode. Particularly your discussion about star trek arguments. My co-worker in my office kept looking at me funny as I laughed at it.

  5. I'm somewhat surprised you didn't go with Howard Jones's "What Is Love?" as the opening music. Nor do I remember you dismissing it as too obvious in the discussion at the beginning.

  6. I have the song stuck in my head since Sunday night, too. And it's almost Thursday. I've been singing it to the cats.

  7. I must confess ignorance of anything by Howard Jones... which would obviously explain why I didn't use any.
