Word's come in that legendary atheist science fiction writer (2001: A Space Odyssey; Rendezvous with Rama) and science advocate Sir Arthur C. Clarke has died today. He was 90.


  1. It was his books that led me to read with such a voracious appetite. He will be missed by me greatly! (damn, I hope I spelled that all correctly)

  2. No way. :-( I JUST watched 2001 the other night. It's great.

  3. 2001 is a work of genius. I love that movie with such a passion that sometimes I feel the urge to tell people who probably wouldn't care. Poor bastards.
