I would have liked to have seen something to the effect that while science doesn't have the answer to every question, it has proven the greatest means by which to gain knowledge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33241741.post-52337005063936589122008-11-11T16:11:00.000-06:002008-11-11T16:11:00.000-06:00While all science TEKS have the suspect phrase, "S...While all science TEKS have the suspect phrase, "Science may not answer all questions,"

I have never seen that statement used in a suspicious way. (Although I have heard the similar "scientists can't answer question X, so therefore, they must be wrong on all other questions" argument). Is there an argument or a CREO take on this that I haven't heard?

I've heard from some rather skeptical sources that science cannot make value judgments, nor can it disprove unfalsifiable/untestable statements.

The attitude is that, if there is any relevance to the world around us, then this relevance makes it testable. Otherwise, the question is irrelevant and impossible for the scientific method to answer.Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14299046445235601258noreply@blogger.com
